Do you also have a whole bunch of records? Do you sometimes put on one of the older albums and think: ‘Oh, how I loved this album! I listened so damn much to this record!’?
On a lazy Sunday I want to sit back and listen to one of my older favourite records and reminisce.
I exactly remember buying Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette. I spent a lot of my holidays with my grandparents who lived near Brussels. Songs like ‘Ironic‘ and ‘You Oughta know‘ got lots of airplay at that time and I wanted the album. There was a large music shop near the De Brouckère square and I went there to buy it with my grandpa and dad. I remember I was a little shy because I thought they would laugh at me for buying a cd by a female singer. Crazy, right? 🙂
Do you know this year it’s the 25th anniversary of this album? Alanis will tour in Europe in October to celebrated this anniversary. I was hoping to photograph Alanis on her next European tour, but unfortunately I’ll be in Canada when she plays in Amsterdam (as she’s not playing in Belgium in October). Isn’t it ironic?
