2019
Last year I wrote that my first full year as a concert photographer for Shoot Me Again was awesome. One year later, I must admit that 2019 got even better! I got to shoot bands like Architects, Parkway Drive, Flogging Molly, Refused, INVSN, Zebrahead, The Offspring, Heideroosjes, Europe, Zeal & Ardor, Sepultura, Mike Shinoda, The Hives, La Dispute, and so many more! I got to shoot festivals like Groezrock, Jera On Air, Lokerse Feesten, Sjock Festival, Vestrock, Miracle Metal Meeting and Dynamo Metal Fest!
This year I posted 276 galleries on the Shoot Me Again website, as well as a few galleries here on my website. For Shoot Me Again, I guess I have an average of 5 bands per week in the past 2 years.
If I have to choose a band of the year, then it is definitely Fever 333! Last year I got to photograph them in Antwerp, this year in Haarlem, at Jera On Air and in Antwerp. What a live band and what a great album is Strength in Numb333rs!
In March I went to see Nathan Gray solo in Aarschot and got a tour poster with my picture on it. Cool to see my name in the credits of Nathan’s live album!

2020
Some of the bands I really hope to shoot for the first time in 2020 include: Ghost, Halestorm, Papa Roach, Slipknot, Rammstein, Five Finger Dead Punch, System Of A Down, Rage Against The Machine, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Sinead O’Connor, Larkin Poe, Trixie Whitley, Cage The Elephant, Lamb of God, Korn, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Sting, and many more!
If there’s one band I absolutely want to photograph in 2020, then it is The Ghost Inside. It is great to see that they are playing again after their road accident. They played 1 show in 2019, in Los Angeles, and this must have been so special. So I really hope to see them in 2020 at Full Force Festival or in London.
As you may have noticed while reading the artists I hope to shoot next year, I have joined Frontview Magazine to be able to photograph artists from all kinds of music styles, not just the heavier stuff.
Besides the concerts I’d love to do more portraits, and I’d love to do more portraits for my project ‘The Power of Music’. If you want to be involved, send me an e-mail! Furthermore I’ve got some other ideas for personal projects.
