2019
Just like last year I spent not enough time outside photographing nature or simply enjoying nature… Besides a few walks at the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen, the best part of the year was definitely my photography trip to Slovenia. I couldn’t be happier with my bear pictures! Also the 3 days in Triglav National Park were very cool!
Together with my wife I did a short trip to Cap Griz Nez and Cap Blanc Nez in France. And I tried out some macro.

What will 2020 bring?
I might travel to Slovenia again in June to photograph some more bears, with their little cubs! As the trip was so great this year, it’s tempting to go again in a different season.
What I will do for sure: a trip to the Great Bear Rainforest in early October, guided by Terri Shaddick. 7 days on a small boat with just a few other people, amidst pure nature! Hopefully I’ll get to photograph lots of wildlife, especially the spirit bear! Starting in Terrace, BC and ending in Bella Bella, BC.
I’d like to do some more macro photography in 2020 and of course I will check some new places in Belgium and abroad.
