I was a bit reluctant to ask a photo pass for a 2-day festival, as I am generally not that keen on festivals: too many people, too big, too much impressions, … Yet I couldn’t be happier that I got to shoot the Jera On Air festival in Ysselsteyn (the Netherlands) on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 June 2018! This was my very first festival with a photo pass and access to the photo pit and it was so awesome to be able to photograph some many cool bands. The light conditions were also much better than in most smaller venues I usually photograph. Thank you Jera On Air and Shoot Me Again for this awesome experience! Hope to be there again next year!
I still need to go through my pictures of day 2, but here is a selection of my favourite pictures of day 1. I got to shoot 27 of the 30 bands that performed, unfortunately I didn’t get pictures of Call It Off, Higher Power and Tusky.
